Technology Self-Assessment for Teachers

The Walnut Creek School District uses the California Technology Assistance Project's (CTAP) EdTechProfile as the primary technology assessment tool for district teachers and staff.

Teachers and administrators, to update the self-assessment:

1. Open Internet Explorer and go to: http://www1.edtechprofile.org/index.php
2. Login with First Name, Last Name, ID Number (4 digit pin) and password
3. Click on the [Take] button, then
4. Click on the [Retake] button to restart a new survey set if you have completed it previously.

The completion of BOTH surveys at the elementary level is required before June 2006. WCI teachers just have the Technology Assessment Profile to update. Teachers without accounts may create them at the EdTechProfile homepage. Classified staff may take the survey but it is not required of them.
